How to get there from the SEC: Board a ScotRail train from Exhibition Centre (Glasgow) toward Partick. This is a short ride—just one stop (about 3 minutes). Trains run every 12 minutes. From Partick Train Station, follow signs to the Partick Subway Station (connected to the train station). Board the Glasgow Subway (Outer Circle, clockwise direction) toward Hillhead. Stay on the subway for two stops (about 3 minutes) and exit at Hillhead Subway Station. From there it is only a short walk. The evening will feature opportunities to engage informally with publishers, members from industry, and accomplished PI’s. There will be networking, new perspectives on career paths, informal mentorship – and of course, plenty of food & beverages.

The ECR Networking Reception is open to all early-career researchers (i.e. members who have received a Ph.D or M.D. within the previous 10 -15 years), but advance registration is required. You will receive an invitation and more information at the email you used to register for the conference.
